From the first choice votes, Reuben started ahead with 28 votes. But with 5 tasty candidates, there was no clear winner from the first round of counting. Tied for second, both French Roasted Turkey Club and Grilled Tuna had 21 votes. Monte Cohen in a close third with 17 votes, and Some Like it Hot trailed with 11 votes.
With no majority winner, the least vote getter, Some Like it Hot, was eliminated. Second choice votes from these ballots were tallied to the remaining candidates - giving Rueben 7 more votes, and 4 voters who did not have a second preference.
No majority candidate emerged, but Reuben inched closer.
Monte Cohen was eliminated, and second choice preferences from these ballots were distributed among remaining candidates. Reuben gained 11 more votes, French Club 3 votes, and Grilled Tuna 2 votes. 1 voter did not rank a second preference.

Although Tuna voters preferred the Club to Rueben, the leading candidate secured the needed votes to win in the third runoff with 53 votes!
